How we approach a skin concern
Two people with the same “wrinkle” or “sagging” can need completely different treatments. Lines may come from muscle movement or from thinning skin; a soft jawline may be fat, laxity or bone structure; dark spots may be sun damage, melasma or a lesion that should be checked first. That is why every plan at Bailor starts with a doctor's examination, not a menu.
We group concerns into a few families, because each family responds to a different kind of treatment:
- Lines and wrinkles — Botox, skin Botox and regenerative boosters
- Sagging and volume loss — lifting devices such as Ultherapy, collagen stimulators and filler
- Texture and scars — fractional lasers, RF microneedling and scar filler
- Pigment and tone — pico and toning lasers, plus sun protection
- Small growths — milia, warts and similar lesions, removed precisely after checking
If you are unsure which page fits your concern, a doctor consultation is the best starting point.

What a treatment plan can change
Some changes are quick — a removed milium or a calmer complexion after a facial. Others, such as collagen remodelling for scars or firmness, build over 1–3 months. The doctor will tell you what is realistic for your skin. Start with wrinkles or sagging skin if those are your main goals.
How a skin concern visit works
- Doctor consultation The doctor examines your skin, asks about history and goals, and explains the likely cause.
- Tailored plan One or two treatments are chosen, with sessions, downtime and total price explained upfront.
- Treatment Often on the same day: numbing if needed, then the laser, device or injection.
- Aftercare & follow-up Written aftercare, and questions answered on WhatsApp after you leave.
For international visitors, we plan around your travel dates — treatments with visible downtime go early in your stay, and gentler options such as skin boosters fit into a few days.
Safety, side effects and who should wait
Every effective treatment carries some risk. Side effects depend on what is chosen, but the general pattern is:
- Common: redness, mild swelling, tenderness and small bruises for hours to a few days.
- Less common: temporary darkening of pigment after laser, longer-lasting swelling after injections, or a brief breakout.
- Rare: infection, scarring, allergic reaction, or blood-vessel problems after filler — each requiring prompt medical review.
Tell the doctor first if you
- Are pregnant, breastfeeding or planning pregnancy
- Take isotretinoin, blood thinners or photosensitising medicines
- Have allergies, keloid tendency, cold sores or an autoimmune condition
- Have a recent tan or upcoming strong sun exposure
Any changing or unusual spot is examined before cosmetic treatment. If something does not settle as expected after a visit, send a photo on WhatsApp for a doctor to review.
Dr. Jimin Kang, Medical Director
Every skin concern plan at Bailor starts with a face-to-face skin assessment by a doctor — not a sales counsellor. Dr. Kang's approach is "tailored, not templated": she chooses the product, dose and depth for your skin, and treats you herself or works alongside the other doctors on our in-house medical team.
Skin concern FAQ

How much does treatment cost?
It depends on the concern. Small lesion removal starts from ₩10,000, wrinkle Botox from ₩30,000 and acne scar treatment from ₩150,000, VAT excluded. See the full price list.
Do I need a consultation first?
