Wrinkles treatment matched to each line

A frown line, a crepey cheek and a deep forehead crease are three different problems. At Bailor in Sinsa, a doctor sorts your lines by cause and treats each one with the right tool.

Three kinds of wrinkles, three causes

Before choosing a treatment, it helps to know which type of line you have. Most faces have all three in different places:

  • Dynamic lines appear only when you move — frowning, raising eyebrows, smiling. They come from repeated muscle contraction and respond well to Botox.
  • Static lines stay visible at rest. Years of movement plus collagen loss have etched them into the skin; they usually need filler or regenerative injections as well as muscle relaxation.
  • Crepey fine lines and laxity folds come from thinning skin and loss of support, such as fine lines on the cheeks or creases on the neck.

Sun exposure, smoking, dehydration and sleep position all deepen lines. For the finest surface lines, see our page on fine lines treatment; for lines around the eyes, under-eye wrinkles.

What changes as lines soften

Before · deep forehead lines After · softer, rested

Botox softens moving lines within 3–7 days and peaks at about two weeks; the face should still move naturally. Etched lines improve more slowly and often need a second approach such as soft filler or Rejuran. With regular treatment, many patients find static lines become shallower over time.

How a wrinkle visit works

  1. Line mapping The doctor watches your expressions and looks at your face at rest to classify each line.
  2. Comfort Ice for Botox; numbing cream for about 30 minutes before filler or boosters.
  3. Treatment Botox takes 10–15 minutes; filler, boosters or devices 20–45 minutes.
  4. Review For Botox, an optional retouch within 4 weeks if one side needs balancing (depends on product).

Botox is the easiest wrinkle treatment for a short trip: no visible downtime and you can fly the next day. If you are combining with filler or boosters, do injectables early in the stay so the doctor can check you before you leave.

Downtime, side effects and who should wait

Wrinkle treatments are common and generally well tolerated. Honest expectations:

  • Common: small injection marks, mild redness, tiny bruises; small bumps after boosters for 1–3 days; mild headache after forehead Botox.
  • Less common: uneven eyebrow position, a heavy feeling in the forehead, or lumpiness after filler that settles over 1–2 weeks.
  • Rare: drooping eyelid lasting a few weeks, allergic reaction, infection, or vascular complications from filler — which is why filler is placed by a doctor who knows the anatomy.

Tell the doctor first if

you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a neuromuscular condition (such as myasthenia gravis), take blood thinners or certain antibiotics, have had a reaction to Botox or filler before, or have an active skin infection or cold sore. After Botox, avoid lying down, rubbing the area, saunas and hard exercise for 4–6 hours.

Wrinkle FAQ

How much does wrinkle treatment cost in Gangnam?

At Bailor Clinic in Sinsa, wrinkle Botox starts from ₩30,000 per area (₩22,900 on a first visit), skin Botox from ₩50,000 and Belotero forehead filler from ₩350,000, VAT excluded. See Botox prices.

How long does Botox for wrinkles last?

Usually 3–4 months, sometimes a little longer with regular treatment. Skin Botox for fine lines typically lasts 2–3 months.

Can deep wrinkles be removed completely?

Deep, etched lines can usually be softened noticeably but not erased. Combining Botox with filler or regenerative injections gives the most natural improvement.

Will I look frozen?

Not if the dose is tailored. Our doctors aim to soften lines while keeping natural expression, and adjust doses for first-time patients.

Which Botox brand should I choose?

Korean toxins, Coretox and Xeomin all relax muscles; they differ in price and formulation. The doctor can explain the differences and suggest one for your situation.

Can I combine Botox and filler on the same day?

Often yes. The doctor plans the order and areas so each treatment works well and swelling stays low.
