What is Titanium lifting?
Titanium lifting is a diode laser lifting treatment. The handpiece combines several near-infrared wavelengths, each reaching a slightly different depth, and sweeps them over the skin in a continuous motion while a cooling plate protects the surface. The result is gentle, even heat through the dermis and the fatty layer underneath.
That heat does two things. In the short term, it tightens tissue and reduces mild puffiness, which is why many people see a slightly sharper jawline and a brighter tone the same day. Over the following weeks, it supports collagen production for a firmer feel.
Energy is measured in kilojoules (KJ): a small dose gives a quick refresh, while 60–100KJ allows multiple passes over the whole face and jawline.
People usually choose Titanium for:
- A same-day lift and glow before a wedding, photo shoot or meeting
- Mild jowls, softness under the chin and facial puffiness
- Dull skin that also needs a gentle brightening effect
- Regular maintenance between larger treatments such as Thermage
How much Titanium do you need?
The doctor decides the energy after looking at your skin thickness, laxity and the areas you want treated. As a general guide:
| Option | Typical use | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Titanium 10KJ | Trial or small area, quick refresh | ₩150,000 |
| Neck Titanium 20KJ | Neck and under-chin skin | ₩200,000 |
| Titanium 60KJ | Full face, standard lifting session | ₩720,000 |
| Titanium 80KJ | Full face with extra passes on the jawline | ₩880,000 |
| Titanium 100KJ | Full face and contour, maximum coverage | ₩1,000,000 |

Titanium on its own or combined?
Titanium is a surface-to-mid-depth treatment, so it pairs naturally with deeper lifting. A common plan is Ultherapy for structural lift, followed by Titanium for even tightening and glow. For neck lines, it can be combined with neck boosters. If your main goal is fuller contour reduction rather than tightening, Onda may be a better match.
What changes after Titanium lifting
Titanium's effect has two phases: an immediate tightening and brightening that many people notice in the mirror the same day, then a gradual firming over 4–8 weeks. Because it is gentle, many patients repeat it every 1–2 months. For a longer-lasting structural change, ask about sagging skin treatment plans.
How a Titanium lifting visit works
- Doctor consultation We look at laxity, puffiness and tone, and choose the KJ and areas.
- Preparation Cleansing, eye protection and a thin layer of gel. Numbing is usually not needed.
- Treatment The cooled handpiece glides in passes over each zone for about 15–40 minutes.
- Finish Soothing care and sunscreen; you can return to your plans straight away.
Most patients feel steady warmth, a little stronger along the jaw and cheekbones. Because there is no visible downtime, Titanium is easy to schedule on the same trip as skin boosters or toning; the doctor will advise which to do first.
Downtime, side effects and precautions
Titanium lifting is one of the gentler lifting treatments, but it is still a laser procedure:
- Common: warmth and light pinkness for up to an hour, and a tight feeling that evening.
- Less common: mild swelling or tenderness along the jaw, and temporary dryness for a day or two.
- Rare: superficial burns, blisters or pigment changes, more likely on tanned skin or when skin is already irritated.
Tell the doctor first if you
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Have a recent tan, sunburn or active skin infection
- Take photosensitising medication or isotretinoin
- Have recent filler, threads or metal implants in the treatment area
- Have a history of melasma or post-inflammatory pigmentation
Afterwards, use SPF daily and avoid saunas for a day. If anything concerns you, send a photo on WhatsApp for a doctor to review.

Does Titanium lifting hurt?
Most patients describe it as a warm massage. Contact cooling protects the surface, and numbing cream is usually not needed.
How long do Titanium results last?
The immediate tightening and glow are most visible for a few weeks, while collagen effects build over 1–2 months. Many people repeat every 1–2 months or use it as maintenance.
Can I do Titanium before an event?
Yes — it is often chosen for that reason because there is usually no visible downtime. A day or two before the event is ideal.
Is Titanium lifting the same as HIFU?
No. Titanium uses diode laser energy that heats tissue broadly, while HIFU and Ultherapy focus ultrasound to deeper points. They are often combined.
Can Titanium be used on the neck?
Yes. Neck Titanium 20KJ is designed for the neck and under-chin, and can be combined with neck skin boosters or Botox for lines.
