What is OXYFACIAL?

OXYFACIAL is a multi-step device facial. It is generally built around three stages: a gentle exfoliation of the outer layer of skin, an infusion stage that helps active serums reach the skin rather than sitting on top, and a soothing finish. The aim is a fresher, more hydrated, more even-looking complexion without peeling or recovery time.

Many people describe the skin as feeling “plumped” and looking brighter afterwards. That is largely the effect of hydration and smoother surface texture — it is a skin-quality treatment, not a lifting one.

It is commonly chosen for:

  • Dull, tired-looking or sallow skin that lacks radiance
  • Dehydration and a slightly rough or uneven surface
  • A pre-event refresh when you cannot afford visible downtime
  • Maintenance between laser or booster sessions

For deep pigmentation, active cystic acne, sagging or scars, OXYFACIAL on its own will not be enough, and the doctor will suggest a more targeted treatment.

How OXYFACIAL compares with other facials

At the consultation, the doctor compares OXYFACIAL with similar options on our menu to find the right fit for your skin and budget:

Facial Approach Best suited to Price
OXYFACIAL Exfoliate + infuse + calm Dullness, dehydration, refresh Confirmed after consultation
Aqua Peel Water exfoliation + pore suction Congestion, quick cleanse ₩50,000
Environ Ionzyme Vitamin-focused hydrating care Dehydrated, tired skin ₩150,000
PHA Hydro Botox Gentle exfoliation + hydration Sensitive, dry skin ₩180,000
Glow Brightening Facial Brightening programme Uneven tone, dullness ₩280,000

If your skin is congested as well as dull, cleansing comes first: an Aqua Peel or Hydrafacial-style session clears pores so that any infusion step works on a clean surface.

The brighter, more hydrated look is usually visible the same day and lasts around one to two weeks. A series of sessions helps keep the surface smoother. For deeper, longer-lasting hydration, the doctor may suggest skin boosters alongside facials.

How an OXYFACIAL visit works

  1. Doctor skin check Hydration, tone, sensitivity and any medications are reviewed, and the price is confirmed.
  2. Exfoliate The device gently refines the outer layer of skin after cleansing.
  3. Infuse Serums chosen for your skin are worked in during the infusion stage.
  4. Soothe & protect A calming mask, then moisturiser and sunscreen before you leave.

OXYFACIAL is a good first-day treatment on a trip to Seoul because there is nothing to heal. For sensitive or reactive skin, ask about finishing with LDM(LDM Triple 12 min, ₩100,000) to calm redness.

Downtime, side effects and aftercare

OXYFACIAL is gentle, but any exfoliation and serum infusion carries small risks:

  • Common: mild pinkness, warmth or a tingling sensation for up to an hour or two; a tight feeling as skin rehydrates.
  • Less common: temporary dryness, light flaking, or a few small breakouts in the following days.
  • Rare: irritation or an allergic reaction to a serum ingredient.

Tell the doctor first if

  • You use isotretinoin, retinoids or strong acids
  • You have had a laser, peel or waxing on the face in the past week
  • You have active acne cysts, rosacea flares, eczema, sunburn or cold sores
  • You are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have known skincare allergies

Aftercare

Keep skincare simple for 2–3 days: gentle cleanser, moisturiser and SPF. Avoid scrubs, acids, saunas and very hot showers on the day of treatment.

How much is OXYFACIAL at Bailor Clinic?

The OXYFACIAL price is confirmed after consultation. For reference, facials on our current menu range from ₩50,000 to ₩280,000, VAT excluded. See the facial price list.

Does OXYFACIAL hurt?

No. Most people feel light suction or tingling during exfoliation and a cool sensation during infusion. Numbing is not needed.

Is OXYFACIAL suitable for sensitive skin?

Often, yes, with adjusted settings and serums. The doctor checks your skin first and may suggest a calmer facial if it is reactive.

How often should I have OXYFACIAL?

A short series every 2–4 weeks is common, then monthly maintenance if you like the result.

Can I combine it with laser toning or boosters?

Usually yes. The facial is often done first, but the doctor decides the order based on your skin.

Can I wear makeup after?

Light makeup is usually fine within a few hours. Always use sunscreen afterwards.
